Keyword selection is a very tricky game and it also plays a very important role in the success of your search engine marketing. Do not be complacent after you have locked on the “must have” keywords thinking that you are now on safe ground because other advertisers have also locked on those words.

Study the keyword patterns first and you will notice a totally different set of small words that also get used so the keywords that you use should be a combination of the must have’s and the smaller keywords. You should not be worried on the use of small words since eventually you will know through conversion statistics which words are working and which do not.
